At Smile Texas, our line of cosmetic dentistry procedures allows patients of all ages to improve the appearance of their teeth and feel confident when they share their smiles. This can make all the difference to a patient who might otherwise feel embarrassed or self-conscious about how they look when they laugh, talk, or smile with others. Drs. Rick Kline and Bret Davis of Smile Sugar Land, TX are dedicated to providing a wide selection of services for patients to consider to transform the look of their smile and boost their self-esteem!
What can a cosmetic dentist do for my smile?
Once a patient has a healthy smile free from periodontal disease and tooth decay, cosmetic dentistry treatments can be evaluated further. Drs. Rick Kline and Bret Davis will discuss with patients the specific areas of their smile that they would like to improve. Some of the following concerns are regularly brought to our attention:
- Chipped or broken teeth
- Missing teeth
- Excessive gum tissue
- Unusually-shaped teeth
- Worn or damaged teeth
- Stained or discolored teeth
- Misaligned teeth
During an initial consultation appointment, the team will assess the specific areas that need to be improved and then make recommendations to the patient based on their current smile. Certain situations such as misaligned teeth can be addressed in several different ways, and our team will educate patients on their choices so they can make a knowledgeable decision on the treatment most appropriate for their budget and lifestyle.
How long does it take for cosmetic dental work?
Once a patient has decided to have cosmetic dentistry performed on their smile, they can choose to have all the procedures done in a single visit or space the treatments apart over several different appointments. The choice is up to the patient as to the timeframe in which they would like to see the results.
